About me

Hi, I’m Kseniia. I’m a mom of three – a four-year-old, a three-year-old and a seven-month-old – and we live in Washington State.

I was born in Russia, where HiPP is on every supermarket shelf, so when I moved to the U.S. I was surprised that the formula I grew up seeing wasn’t something I could pick up at the store. When I stopped producing enough breast milk for my first child I tried a couple of American formulas, and my baby was fussier and had more trouble with digestion than I expected. Switching to a European formula made a noticeable difference for us, and I’ve used it with all three of my children since.

Somewhere along the way I became the person in my friend group who reads the whole ingredient list, compares the nutrition tables, and double-checks the tin before ordering the next batch. This site is where I keep those notes so other parents don’t have to start from zero at 2am like I did.

I’m a mom, not a doctor. Everything here is my own experience and my own reading of the labels. Please talk to your pediatrician about your baby’s feeding.

Read my formula comparison or send me a note.
